I work as a Freelance Household and Executive Support Specialist, with more than 30 years experience, and am a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management. I bring extensive experience in executive assistance, ensuring that your needs are met with precision and professionalism. From managing schedules to handling correspondence, I streamline your work and/or home life and free up valuable time so you can enjoy what truly matters to you the most. Not only am I founder of Your Household PA, but also 'Tails of Pawfection' a unique Pet/House Sitting and Wedding Chaperone Service for pets., and am an author . Life can be a whirlwind, a constant balancing act between professional demands and personal challenges. It's a journey marked by ups and downs, one that I know all too well. From my own personal struggles and successes emerged a vision: Your Household PA, born from a desire to reclaim precious time. The business was created to enable you to do more of what you love, with the ones you love, while you have the opportunity. There is no greater pain than the loss of a child and my path, after the loss of my son, has taught me that adversity can be transformed into advantage, and our greatest challenges can become our most valued strengths. With every step I’ve gained a profound understanding of what it means not just to survive but to thrive, even when the odds seem insurmountable. Lucie Day Lucie has a passion for supporting neurodivergent professionals and brings both personal and professional experience to the table. Her journey began when her son was diagnosed as autistic, followed by her sister’s diagnosis of ADHD. For the past six years, Lucie has been immersed in the field of education, providing support to neurodivergent children. As a Virtual Assistant, she finds joy in witnessing the journeys of those she assists, knowing that she’s played a part in achieving their goals. Lucie’s services encompass a range of administrative support, including social media management, email organization and general administrative tasks. With a flair for creativity, she enjoys managing social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. Using software such as Canva, video editing and scheduling, to create relevant and consistent content. and encompassing marketing strategies, social media is a great way to build connections, find clients and grow your business. Outside of work, Lucie enjoys painting, practicing yoga and cherishing moments with her family. Iwona Sobon Iwona specialises in professional virtual business support for small and medium-sized businesses. With over 12 years of experience in finance, Iwona has spent the last three years immersing herself in the world of website design, where she discovered a true passion. As a tech-savvy WordPress expert and book-keeper she combines her extensive executive, organisational, and administrative skills to help entrepreneurs run their businesses smoothly and efficiently . Guided by values of honesty, accountability, reliability, adaptivity, and integrity, Iwona is committed to minimising environmental impact while maximising business growth. She is proud to be part of the ethical movement, upholding principles of authenticity, transparency, and sustainability in all her work. Sharon Barry Sharon has over 30 years of experience working in Secretarial & Business Administration, HR and HR Information Services, working within companies of all sizes, from small, family independent traders to global multinationals and it’s fair to say, she certainly knows her “onions” when it comes to all things admin. Alongside those stuffy, business qualifications, Sharon is also a Mum to three boys and although they are grown and have flown the nest, bringing them up and managing a busy household certainly comes with its own unique set of skills! Working with Sharon will mean you receive a high quality, confidential and personalised service that is unique and tailored to your business. But business doesn’t mean boring, Sharon has a great sense of humour and enjoys working with likeminded people. Sharon loves chocolate, Sci-Fi and Chinese food. She is “Mumma” to a gorgeous rescue cat, Daisy and her new “doggie sister” Honey. They are both a very important part of her family and business life and I’m sure you will hear her talking about her “team”.

Fundraising The Abingdon Bridge is an Oxfordshire charity supporting young people in challenging circumstances aged between 13 and 25 in the South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse area. Whether it be anxiety, depression, low self esteem, trouble at work or school, issues at home or with their own relationships, feelings caused by losing someone close, having a baby, or breaking up, substance or alcohol abuse The Abingdon Bridge cover all of this and so much more. Individuals are able to self refer meaning that there does not have to be a professional body involved. It is a service especially close to my heart and I fundraise in memory of my son, Ollie, whom I lost through suicide when he was only 23.   • How to work with a VA - Your Household PA

    The role of a Virtual Assistant is predominately similar to that of a Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant but who works from a remote location offering administration services. ​We provide a flexible and efficient service to those who are feeling overwhelmed with daily admin tasks but are not necessarily looking to take on another member of staff. How to work with a Virtual Assistant A VA is a freelance Executive/Personal Assistant Your VA will support your business as well as other clients every day. We are not like full-time employees and are not available all day every day - even though it might sometimes feel like we are! We work on multiple clients in any one day, usually doing a chunk of time for one, before moving on to the next. You are billed by time, a bit like lawyers, and we click in and out of an online timesheet recording how much time we do for each person. All businesses operate in their own unique way, and therefore in order to best work with our clients, we need to understand you and your business. We ask you to spend a little time looking at the areas you would like to outsource. By identifying key areas which take you the most time, are repetitive tasks, you don't like to do or you lack the skills in are a great place to start. When you outsource, we will need access to your systems and potentially have a profile set up to work within your business. It helps both parties if you have this information on hand, e.g. logins and passwords. It's also useful for you to set some time aside to run us through your systems and procedures as well as the position you're currently at for ease of handover. Your VA will need access to your diary and possibly your inbox depending on what you agree we will do. What is most key is that in order to support you to the best of their ability, your VA needs good communication from you. Therefore, we will ask you to meet us weekly or fortnightly for 15-30 minutes, please do your best to make these calls. The more you are able to tell us about your world, your clients, your internal commitments, the better we can help you prioritise and take things off your plate. Assist with capturing those special photographs. Ensure that your dog has appropriate comfort and water breaks. Return your dog to an agreed location, feed and top up water as required.
